basic info name Fenris, birth name Leto series Dragon Age 2 canon point flexible on any, has played all games + trespasser age ~30s (depends on timeline) Player is 21+. visual Tall (for an elf, I imagine around 5'7 or 5'8), narrow and sharp, warrior-like leanness, green eyes, pointed ears, and shock of white hair (ref). Fenris is most well defined and identified by the lyrium scars present across his entire body. While at first he may have attempted to cover these markings, he's learned concealment is impossible, so the current derivative of armor exposes them. He leans primarily toward dark clothing with no concept of fashion. Whatever allows him to fight more effectively and efficiently. demeanor Scathing and cruel under some circumstances, flirtatious and amused under others, Fenris can be prickly. He has an intensity that goes beyond surface level broodiness. sound Voiced by Gideon Emery, deeper than you'd think. scent Some combination of earthy and metallic, sometimes blood after a battle. I imagine Fenris likes to keep clean, so perhaps a mild scent of soap as well. mental Initially closed off and argumentative, beneath this defensive mental state is an individual who desperately longs for purpose, autonomy, genuine affection and happiness. Depending on the point in his timeline, Fenris carries the weight of his past like a heavy burden. This shows in his treatment and bias toward mages of all varieties, but may also have cooled down somewhat depending on player choice. magic While he does not possess magic, Fenris's lyrium markings have their own ability which allows him at its most basic level to phase through physical objects/barriers. permissions OOC backtagging Yes. My speed varies depending on how busy I am, but I love the freedom of knowing I can go back to threads that may have been sitting for a bit. threadhopping Usually yes, unless it's an important thread. Ask first if you're unsure. fourthwalling I would prefer not! offensive subjects Pretty much none. IC PHYSICAL AFFECTION Yes! He may react poorly. He's not an affectionate person by nature, but with the right person he can be. FLIRTING Please flirt with him. If he's in the right mood for it, he'll flirt back. Or be very straightforward. FIGHTING He's a temperamental warrior, so very much yes. injuries Sure, if it's minor. Tevinter Imperium. Blood magic. He hates all of those things, but I love exploring darker subject matter, so bring it on. preferences SHIPS FAVORITES: Garrett Hawke/Marian Hawke, Dorian Pavus, Isabela, Sebastian Vael, Anders, Solas. A lot of these (save for the canon exceptions) are because of experience I've had threading them. I can be swayed toward nearly any ship as long as there is chemistry. YES: Other DA:O, DA2 or DA:I companions with the right set up, also totally open to cross-canon. MAYBE: Inquisitors. NO: Danarius, Wardens. GAME DECISIONS I most commonly default to mage Garrett Hawke, sided with mages, friendship. I can do a rivalry as well. Other defaults: AUS FAVORITES: Most anything that diverges from canon, especially if it brings Fenris to Skyhold in some way. I'm partial to Inquisitor Fenris or another companion as Inquisitor. I also enjoy setting divergences, such as Fenris in Tevinter. Other setting-specific AUs welcome, because Thedas is huge and many areas are unexplored. I also enjoy shapeshifting AUs and magical realism AUs. I am partial to writing angst and conflict in threads and enjoy when shipping/smut is involved, as well as horror/violence/action elements. The DA universe lends well to this. YES: Apocalyptic, high fantasy (separate from DA's universe, such as GOT/LOTR or something), western, steampunk, supernatural. MAYBE: Historical, space/scifi, modern. NO: All human or high school/college AUs unless discussed beforehand. kinks FAVORITES: powerplay, begging, biting, branding, breath control, dirty talking, humiliation, light/medium bondage, orgasm control/denial, pleasure control/denial, rimming, sexual exhaustion, continuous sex, soft cum facials, teasing, competition, intoxication, ear play, spanking.
